Our Tradition

During the reunion weekend, FGHT supports and recognizes family achievers, notable accomplishments, high school and college graduates, newlyweds, and retirees. In 2022, the family organized a scholarship program and distributed awards to two family high school graduates bound for college. Traditionally, we also recognize family members in the following categories:

Oldest Family Member Present (Male & Female)
Birthday on Saturday of the Reunion

Our Planning Process

Fall and Spring meetings are scheduled to plan for each upcoming reunion.

The FGHT Fall Planning meetings are held in October and serve as a time to reflect on the most recent reunion and jump-start planning for the upcoming reunion.

The FGHT Spring Planning meetings are held in March. The March meeting sets the pace to plan further and prepare communication with family members promptly.

By established deadlines, family members return registration information communicated and distributed to them. Receiving registration responses is critical for finalizing reunion plans.
